16 Oct Pinot Noir NZ 2017 wins New Zealand Business Event of the year
At Social Guy, we work with a very diverse group of clients on a range of different projects, and we were delighted to see one of our clients recognised on a national level last week.
Given our office location, we have worked with numerous events and wineries in the New Zealand wine industry. A big project was the Pinot Noir NZ 2017 conference, which recently picked up the award for the Best Business Event of the Year at the New Zealand Event Awards in Auckland.
Judges of the awards put emphasis on pinpointing events where boundaries were pushed, benchmarks set, and innovations achieved. They recognised the significant contribution that Pinot Noir NZ has made to the nation’s economy, how it enhanced our culture, and provided attendees with an enriching and engaging experience.
With the help of Social Guy, Pinot Noir NZ 2017 was able to achieve some fantastic results on Social Media by encouraging conversation and engagement from its 750 attendees, sponsors and stakeholders, and Pinot Noir lovers across the globe.
Pinot Noir NZ 2017 chair Ben Glover said to take out the award, in a brand new category, was an epic achievement.
“This award is for all of the 117 wineries who were part of Pinot Noir NZ 2017, who came together so we could collectively tell our pinot stories to the world,” he says.
“It’s also for our amazing sponsors, partners and stakeholders that made this event possible.”
As the biggest and best Pinot Noir event on the planet, the Pinot Noir NZ Celebration takes place over three days every four years and provides an unparalleled insight into the New Zealand Pinot Noir and the people that make it and grow it.
